Prior to training, the student MUST complete a Class 2 knowledge test at any Alberta registry ($18.00) - 30 multiple questions; as well as a Medical. The cost of the Medical varies from doctor to doctor usually ranges from $150.00-$180.00. See  list of doctors on our website who charge $60.00-$80.00. The road test permits = $167.00. *NOTE: The Airbrake course is a one day (9 hour) class. A class 2 license covers classes 2, 3, 4, & 5. A class 3 license covers classes 3 & 5.
