Class 1 Driver Training and Advanced Class 1 Driver Training Combination*not available at this time* call for information*
Part #1 Class 1 Driver Training:  
  Prerequisite:
  • 18 years of age and hold a valid class minimum class 5 Alberta Driver’s License (Non GDL)
  • Must obtain Alberta Written knowledge exam and Alberta Class 1 medical
 
  • 20 Hours of Individual in-truck instruction
  • Alberta Airbrake Endorsement
  • Preparation for the Alberta Class 1 License and Test
  Cost of Part #1 = $2425.00
   
PART #2  Advanced Class 1 Driver Training:  
  Prerequisite:
  •  Alberta Class 1 Driver’s License
 
  • 30 Hours of in-truck instruction
  • Engine Management
  • Jake Control
  • Terrain Driving
  Classroom Instruction is as follows:
 
  • 4 Hours Transportation of Dangerous Goods
  • 4 Hours WHMIS
  Cost of Part #2 = $3500.00 
   
STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ADDITIONAL COSTS OF:

-WRITTEN EXAM (at the Registry)

-MEDICAL EXAM (To Be COMPLETED As SOON As POSSIBLE)

-The written and the Medical must be obtained before the road exam

-THE ROAD EXAMINER

TOTAL COST OF COURSE IS $5925.00
