Prerequisite: 18 years of age and hold a valid class minimum class 5 Alberta Driver's License (Non-GDL) Must obtain Alberta Written knowledge exam and Alberta class 1 medical
HOUR COURSE CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING:
40.5 Hours of Individual in-truck instruction:
32.5 HOURS STRAIGHT TRAILER - PREPARATION FOR THE ALBERTA CLASS ONE LICENSE & TEST 8 HOURS additional training on various tractor trailer combinations Engine Management Jake Control Terrain Driving
9 HOURS ALBERTA AIRBRAKE ENDORSEMENT
The cost of this course is $4700.00 (No GST - we are exempt). The length of this course is 4 weeks.

If you are entering the Oilfield Industry then the following courses would be beneficial:
	TRANSPORTATION of DANGEROUS GOODS WHMIS FIRST AID H2S ALIVE CONFINED SPACES
The cost of these courses would be an additional $700.00 (subject to change)
STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ADDITIONAL COSTS OF:
-WRITTEN EXAM (at the Registry)
-MEDICAL EXAM (To Be COMPLETED As SOON As POSSIBLE)
-The written and the Medical must be obtained before the road exam
-THE ROAD EXAMINER
